SDMIMD, Mysore is a National level B School that provides higher management education studies for students from all over India, providing them with the theoretical, conceptual management knowledge and giving opportunities to experience the real life scenario in the business arena to match them. Even though the campus placement scenario was gloomy generally in several B schools across India, SDMIMD has outshone all its peers and achieved a milestone in placing over 92% of the students from the PGDM Batch 2024-26 well before our Annual Convocation held in early April.

SDMIMD was established by Dr. D Veerendra Heggade in 1993 with a Mission of creating young leaders who are globally aware, socially responsible and rooted in the Indian Value systems. And we have diligently followed this dictum continuously and the results have been overwhelming.

SDMIMD faculty take pride in ensuring that the students are in line with the changes in the business environment and are ahead of the curve in anticipating the expected learning from the corporate organisations. The legacy of Dharma is part of SDMIMD's value system — Ethics, Values and Social Responsibility are integrated within each course of our PGDM Programme.

The PGDM Programme at SDMIMD is accredited by the European Federation for Management Development (EFMD) and we also hold the Business School Impact System (BSIS) award from the European Union. As a contemporary measure, SDMIMD offers an ESG Certification for students as part of the PGDM Programme.
